The Chasing M2 S 2.0 Grabber Arm 2 is a modular underwater manipulation tool for gripping, pulling and sampling. It comes with a standard two-jaw clamp and features a replaceable tool-head design, allowing the same arm to perform different underwater tasks with compatible attachments.
Strong grip and wide opening
The Grabber Arm 2 provides a maximum gripping force of 7 kg and opens to 170 mm. This combination allows it to handle a range of objects during inspection, retrieval and sampling work. The standard two-jaw clamp is suitable for general gripping and can be removed when another compatible tool head is required.
Replaceable tool-head system
Unlike a fixed gripper, the Grabber Arm 2 supports interchangeable heads, such as a sediment sampler or a round claw. This lets you adapt the same arm to different tasks without replacing the entire accessory. Its mounting structure is raised by 10° to help keep the work area visible to the ROV camera while the arm is in use.
Compact design for underwater use
The main body is made of aluminium alloy and measures approximately 380 × 35 × 35 mm, with a weight of 446 g. The included two-jaw clamp measures approximately 125 × 53 × 22 mm and weighs 76 g. The system is designed for operation at depths of up to 100 m, matching the M2 S maximum operating depth.
