The Chasing M2 S 2.0 Floodlight 2 is an externally mounted dual-light system for underwater inspections and imaging. Positioning the lights away from the ROV camera can improve illumination while reducing visual interference caused by light reflecting off suspended particles directly in front of the lens.
4000 lumens from two adjustable lights
The Floodlight 2 uses two 2000-lumen light sources, providing a maximum combined output of 4000 lumens. The lights can be adjusted horizontally through 360° in 15° increments, allowing the beam direction to be tailored to the work area. Illuminate a wide scene, direct light towards a specific structure or angle the beams away from the camera axis to reduce reflections.
Lightweight external lighting system
The system is approximately 418 mm wide at its widest point and weighs approximately 432 g. Its aluminium and carbon-fibre construction keeps weight low while providing corrosion resistance for repeated underwater use.
Designed for greater depths
The Floodlight 2 has a rated operating depth of 150 m. When installed on the M2 S 2.0, the operating depth is still limited by the ROV system’s maximum rated depth. The adjustable mounting mechanism lets operators set the light position to suit the task before or during mission preparation.
