The Caruba Canon LP-E17 (DR-E18) Dummy Battery with F970 Battery Gusset (spring cable) is designed to power specific Canon cameras using NP-L series adapters such as the NP-F970, NP-F750, and NP-F550 batteries. This solution is ideal for studio use or extended shooting sessions on location, providing a reliable external power source.

The external power supply is protected against short-circuiting and overcharging to ensure safe operation during long shoots.

Includes NP-L series battery plate compatible with NP-F970, NP-F750, and NP-F550 batteries
Halfway decoded battery functionality
Input voltage: 7.2V / 8.4V
Output voltage: 7.2V / 8.4V
Spring cable length adjustable between 35 cm and 120 cm
3-year warranty for reliable performance

Mounting Options

The NP-F series battery plate can be mounted on the bottom of the camera or attached to a rig. Additionally, the included cold shoe mount allows installation on the camera's hot shoe for flexible setup options.
