SmallRig 6540 Dummy Battery Power Cable for USB-C for Cannon LP-E6P

When connected to a USB-C PD charger, power bank or USB-C output port on a V-mount battery, the SmallRig 6540 provides stable, continuous power to a compatible camera. It reduces the need for frequent battery changes and supports uninterrupted recording and a smoother workflow.

The cable supports PD 9 V, 12 V and 15 V input and works with widely used PD fast-charging protocols. This allows flexible power options from PD chargers, car chargers and power banks for indoor or outdoor shooting. Installation is tool-free and requires no complicated setup.

An upgraded chip helps ensure reliable camera compatibility without warning messages while preserving the camera’s original functions and menu operation. The dummy battery is moulded to the dimensions of the original battery for smooth installation and removal, without interfering with normal battery compartment door operation.

Multiple safety protections include overvoltage, overheating, overcharging and short-circuit protection. The cable features a flame-retardant ABS housing for reliable long-term use.
