Continuous Camera Power

When connected to a USB-C PD charger, power bank or USB-C output port on a V-mount battery, the SmallRig 6541 provides stable, continuous power to a compatible camera. It reduces the need for frequent battery changes and supports extended recording and a smoother workflow. It is suitable for long video recording, livestreaming, time-lapse photography and other extended shooting scenarios.

The cable accepts PD 9.0 V or 12.0 V input and supports widely used PD fast-charging protocols. Power it from a compatible PD charger, car charger or power bank for flexible use indoors or outdoors. Installation is tool-free and requires no complicated setup.

Design and Protection

An upgraded chip helps ensure reliable camera compatibility without warning messages while preserving the camera’s original functions and menu operation. The dummy battery is moulded to match the dimensions of the original battery for smooth insertion and removal, without interfering with normal operation of the battery compartment door.

Built-in protections include overvoltage, overheating, overcharge and short-circuit protection. The cable features a flame-retardant ABS housing for reliable long-term use.
