Continuous Camera Power

The SmallRig 6657 USB-C Dummy Battery Power Cable for Panasonic DMW-BLK22 supplies stable, continuous power to a compatible camera when connected to a USB-C PD charger, power bank or USB-C output port on a V-mount battery. It reduces the need for frequent battery changes and supports uninterrupted recording and a smoother workflow. It is suitable for extended video recording, livestreaming, time-lapse photography and other long-duration shooting.

The cable supports PD 9.0 V and 12.0 V input and is compatible with widely used PD fast-charging protocols. It can be powered by PD chargers, car chargers and power banks for flexible use indoors or outdoors. Installation is straightforward and requires no tools or complicated setup.

Compatibility and Protection

An upgraded chip helps ensure reliable camera compatibility without warning messages while preserving the camera’s original functions and menu operation. The dummy battery is moulded to the dimensions of the original battery for smooth installation and removal, and does not interfere with normal operation of the battery compartment door.

Multiple safety protections include overvoltage, overheating, overcharging and short-circuit protection. The cable features a flame-retardant ABS housing for reliable long-term use.
