The Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor is a 5 touchscreen HDR monitor designed for the Blackmagic PYXIS camera, offering full control and versatile mounting options. Available Q4/2024.
This high-brightness monitor serves as a powerful extension of the camera, allowing easy control of all functions. It can be mounted directly on the camera or on various camera assemblies for improved focusing and shot composition. Additionally, it functions as an auxiliary monitoring station for crew members on set.
With a bright 1500 cd/m2 screen, visibility is excellent even in sunlight. The monitor features a removable sun visor for protection and ease of transport. Its solid metal construction complements the design of Blackmagic PYXIS and URSA Cine cameras.
Installation is straightforward with a single USB-C cable that carries video, power, and camera control, secured with locking screws. The touchscreen provides access to all camera menus, metadata settings, and custom 3D LUT corrections.
Designed for flexibility, it supports various mounting options, including off-camera setups on cranes or stabilizers. It is compatible with both Blackmagic PYXIS and URSA Cine cameras, transforming into a large-format viewfinder when mounted on the URSA Cine.
