High Brightness for Outdoor Shooting
The FW279 ultra-high brightness monitor features a "golden size" 7-inch panel with 2200 cd/m² brightness, nearly five times brighter than conventional field monitors. This high brightness enables outdoor shooting without reflections washing out the image, making it ideal for gimbals, Steadicam, and director's monitors, providing a crisp image without the bulk or viewing angle restrictions of a sun hood.

Mounting Options
The FW279 features standard 1/4" mounting points on the bottom for attachment to cameras and rigs. The image flip function supports correct orientation when mounted upside down. Additionally, 75mm VESA mounting holes on the back allow attachment to sturdier mounts if required.
Power Supply
The monitor can be powered via a 12V DC input or Sony F970 compatible rechargeable batteries (standard). Optional battery plates for D28S/D54, LP-E6, or U60 batteries are also available. Note that the power button must be used to turn off the monitor before disconnecting power. Due to its high brightness, a DC 7-24V power supply with output greater than 18W (e.g., 12V/2A adapter) is recommended.
