The improved H35N camera features a built-in star filter, bulb shutter, tripod socket, and a partially glass-coated lens. It is a half-frame camera, capturing images at half the size of a standard frame, allowing 72 exposures on a 36-exposure roll and 48 on a 24-exposure roll. The viewfinder displays a vertical image instead of the usual horizontal orientation.

Optics and Lens

Kodak enhanced the optics by replacing one acrylic lens element with a glass lens, improving image sharpness. The built-in star filter creates a four-beam flare effect on light spots.

Shutter and Controls

The bulb shutter and cable release enable precise exposure control for capturing motion trails and low-light photography. A tripod socket is integrated at the camera base for stability.
