The Urth 77mm Essentials Filter Kit Pro combines four professional-grade filters: UV, CPL, ND8, and ND1000 Pro, providing comprehensive creative control in any shooting environment.
Glass and Coating
- The UV filter features ionically tempered AERO C10 glass.
- The CPL, ND8, and ND1000 filters use premium German SCHOTT B270 optical glass for flawless color accuracy.
- All filters are coated with a 34-layer dual-side CoraNano Max nano coating, delivering ultra-low reflectance (≤1.5%), minimal ghosting and flare, and high light transmission with maximum contrast.
Filter Details
- UV Filter: Protects the front lens element from scratches, dust, and impact. Filters ultraviolet light (L41) for clearer images.
- CPL Filter: Circular polarizing filter that suppresses reflections on glass and water, deepens blue skies, saturates colors, and reduces light by approximately 1.3 stops.
- ND8 Filter: Neutral density filter reducing light by 3 stops, allowing wide apertures for shallow depth of field in bright conditions and helping maintain correct shutter speeds for smooth motion.
- ND1000 Filter: Neutral density filter reducing light by 10 stops for extreme long exposures even in daylight, enabling effects like flowing water, smooth clouds, and pronounced motion blur.
