DJI Focus Pro is DJI's first independent Automated Manual Focus (AMF) lens control system, offering cinematographers a robust and comprehensive focus solution that introduces a new era of human-machine collaborative focus control.

LiDAR Focusing, Accessible to All

• DJI introduces a standalone LiDAR focus system, enabling a wide range of users to explore creative focusing possibilities.
• The newly designed DJI Focus Pro Grip features a 2.5-hour system power supply, intuitive touchscreen operations, auto-calibration, data storage for up to 15 lenses, Bluetooth start/stop recording, and handheld shooting capabilities, providing an exceptional LiDAR focusing experience even without a Ronin stabilizer.
• The Grip's full-color touchscreen supports adjustment of LiDAR and motor parameters and displays a real-time LiDAR perspective view for complete operator awareness.
• Auto calibration is facilitated via the DJI Ronin app, which imports built-in lens data into the Focus Pro Motor via Bluetooth; each motor can store data for up to 15 lenses.
• Bluetooth connectivity allows the Grip to connect directly to mirrorless cameras for wireless start/stop recording and to pair with the DJI Ronin app for manual lens calibration.
• The Grip supports 2.5 hours of operation for both LiDAR and focus motor and allows continuous use while charging with third-party PD fast-charging batteries.

• Extended human-subject focus distance up to 20 meters, approximately three times the previous generation, suitable for telephoto lens shooting.

Flexible Modular Design

Focus Pro consists of four main modules: LiDAR, Motor, Grip, and Hand Unit. Users can combine these modules to suit various shooting demands, from solo cinematographers using LiDAR autofocus to collaborative teams employing precise focus control with the Hand Unit.

AMF: Human-Machine Collaboration

• AMF mode, available on both the Hand Unit and Grip, enables seamless collaboration between autofocus and manual focus control.
• In AMF mode, the front dial on the Grip or focus knob on the Hand Unit rotates synchronously with autofocus, providing tactile feedback to the operator.
• Manual focus control can be engaged or disengaged within milliseconds, enhancing precision and on-set efficiency.
• AMF allows dynamic focus transitions by rotating the dial and focus lock by pressing and holding the dial, ideal for narrative scenes and scenes with foreground obstructions.
• Focus assistance with a bird's-eye view is enabled by the LiDAR Waveform feature on the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor, providing spatial position, focal plane reference, and distance scale information to aid manual intervention timing.

FIZ Lens Control: Master the Scene

• The magnetic damping FIZ Hand Unit allows effortless control of lens focus, zoom, and aperture, improving teamwork and enabling complex scene shooting.
• Real-time, stepless damping adjustment balances comfort and precision.
• Electronic A-B point marking mode with spring-back tactile feedback facilitates precise focus control.
• 160-meter communication distance covers most indoor and outdoor shooting needs.
• Bluetooth start/stop recording supports wireless control of mirrorless cameras.
• FIZ Motor improvements include one-button linking with the Hand Unit, 10 ms low latency response, three-level adjustable torque to match lens gear tightness, adjustable rotation direction, and compatibility with 15 mm rods for versatile mounting.
• Magnetic damping Grip enables smooth switching between focus and zoom control with adjustable dial speed (1 to 100) and tactile feedback modes (damping in focus mode, spring-back in zoom mode).

• Integrated with the DJI PRO ecosystem, the system supports professional vehicle shoots with stabilization, monitoring, and dual-channel gimbal and focus control, including quick AF subject selection and LiDAR Waveform focus assistance.
• Focus pullers can take initiative in complex scenarios using AMF mode, seamlessly intervening on LiDAR autofocus and adjusting zoom and aperture as needed.
• Team collaboration is enhanced via DJI Transmission, retaining professional focusing and advanced focus assistance features.
• Ronin 4D collaborative lens control allows multiple operators to work together effectively, with the main operator controlling composition and the focus puller managing focus via the Hand Unit and High-Bright Remote Monitor.
