The Easy35 V2 is a complete overhaul of VALOI's most popular camera scanning tool, offering significant mechanical and lighting improvements.
Main Improvements
- Universal Light Source: Jump from 81 to 99 light uniformity, providing edge-to-edge illumination even with wide-angle lenses, effectively eliminating "orange corners" and vignetting issues common in home scanning.
Optimized Color Balance
The fixed color temperature is adjusted to pre-balance the color negative orange mask, working equally well for both black and white negatives and positive films.
Precise Engineering
The V2 transitions from 3D printing to an injection-molded ABS body for the main unit and features a metal rotation mechanism, ensuring 510 times tighter overall tolerances. A 5-point spring ball bearing system ensures the film holder is perfectly fixed in place, keeping the film completely parallel to the sensor surface.
Smart Power Management Solution
Battery life is doubled to over 4 hours. The new smart battery bypass allows for direct USB-C power during marathon sessions without draining or overheating the battery.
Magnetic Accessory Mount

Compatibility
The Easy35 V2 operates within the Easy35 V2 system, including Easy35 V2 accessories such as the Easy35 V2 Duster and Easy35 V2 slide holder, as well as all other additional Easy35 V2 format holders (35mm sprockets, 35mm half-frame, APS, 126, 110, and Minox film formats). It is not compatible with the original Easy35 system, Easy120, or VALOI 360 systems. Easy35 V1 film holders can be used with Easy35 V2, but without the secure fixation of V2 holders.
