Overview
Develop large paper prints with precision without trays.
The Vintage Visual REEL Paper 8 makes it possible to process photographic paper up to 40 x 30 cm (16 x 12 in) inside a standard Paterson 8-reel tank. As the first reel of its kind, it offers a practical and space-efficient solution for developing oversized prints in a closed tank system.
Designed for smooth loading in complete darkness, the reel is made from durable ASA plastic, ensuring strength, reliability, and long-term performance in the darkroom.
Flexible Workflow
The REEL Paper 8 supports both traditional and modern darkroom processes:
- Black & white paper developed by hand using standard agitation
- RA-4 colour paper used together with the AGO Film Processor for consistent rotary processing
By eliminating the need for trays, you reduce mess, improve consistency, and optimize chemical usage.
Recommended Accessory
For easier and faster filling of the larger tank when using AGO, we recommend the AGO Quick Pour Funnel.
