Hybrid Driver System
The TRUTHEAR HEXA wired in-ear headphones use a hybrid driver system with one dynamic driver and three balanced armature drivers in each earbud. Combining modern technology, considered design and careful construction, the HEXA is designed for precise sound reproduction across the frequency range.
Powerful Bass and Clear Highs
A 10 mm dynamic driver produces deep, energetic bass. Its flexible polyurethane suspension and liquid crystal polymer (LCP) diaphragm support precise tuning and smooth transitions between frequency bands. The balanced armature drivers reproduce the midrange naturally and add detail and clarity to high frequencies, creating a full sound spectrum from rich lows to clear highs.
Precise Frequency Division
Hybrid frequency division allows each driver to operate within its optimal range. The acoustic design uses DLP 3D printing to incorporate structures that filter sound waves for precise processing. This helps deliver natural sound with reduced phase shifts, as well as a spacious, balanced listening experience.
Wide Frequency Response
The HEXA has a frequency response of 8 Hz to 40 kHz. Its effective frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz is designed to reproduce deep bass, balanced mids and clear highs across the range of human hearing.
Comfort and Durability
The housings are made from medical-grade resin using DLP 3D printing, combining low weight with durability and skin-safe materials. An anodised aluminium plate, secured with screws and adhesive, protects the structure. The compact housings and rounded edges are designed for a comfortable fit during extended listening.
Cable and Customisation
The HEXA includes a four-strand silver-plated cable. Its universal 0.78 mm 2-pin connector allows the cable to be replaced, providing options for customising the headphones’ functionality.
