Overview

The China Ball, or Chinese paper lantern, is designed with a paper lantern holder and lamp socket to create natural soft light and pleasant skin tones in the film and video industry. The frame of the Kupo China Ball is constructed from high-quality 3/16 (5mm) steel with a chrome-plated surface treatment. It is interchangeable by removing the screw nuts if a different size of lantern paper is needed.

Features

• The rotatable steel ring allows for easy control of light output while fabric or gel is attached.
• An anti-kinking spiral top cable gland prevents the cable from becoming loose when subjected to vibration.
• The 3C*14AWG (2.08mm) cable measures 90cm in length and comes with a standard Edison plug.
• A ceramic lamp socket is firmly fixed on the round metal plate to keep the bulb from wobbling.
• Two 1/4-20 and two 3/8-16 threaded holes are pre-drilled underneath the round plate, providing a great mounting solution through any grip equipment, compatible with 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 thread male.
• A 5/8 (16mm) pin with a 3/8-16 threaded male is included.
