Precise Measurement and Handling of Large Loads

The built-in 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) ensures high accuracy of measurements, which is essential for laboratory and service testing. The tester supports current loads up to 6.5 A, and the USB-C port allows bi-directional power flow. This capability enables not only measurement of power parameters but also analysis of power transfer quality in both directions, crucial for testing devices with Power Delivery.

Automatic Identification of Fast Charging Protocols

The FNAC-28 automatically recognizes major fast charging protocols including QC 2.0, QC 3.0, AFC, SCP, FCP, Apple 2.4A, VOOC, SVOOC, and PE. Upon connecting a charger or device, the tester displays a list of supported standards along with voltage and current values. Charging simulations can be activated to verify charger compliance with specific standards and assess actual performance.

Extensive Measurement Functions

The cable testing function can detect damage, measure cable resistance, and evaluate its current transmission capability. The tester also simulates load conditions to verify cable performance under real usage. It can perform battery capacity tests by recording time, current, and power consumption. The FNAC-28 stores up to five sets of measurement data automatically, facilitating assessment of battery wear or testing of new cells before installation.

Advanced Setting Functions

The device allows adjustment of display brightness, standby mode timing, and temperature unit selection (Celsius/Fahrenheit). It supports interface language switching between English and Chinese. The tester can simulate standard charging profiles such as Apple’s 2.4A or DASH, enabling comprehensive power supply testing without additional equipment. Data can be displayed graphically in three modes: classic real-time voltage and current, D+/D- line data voltage analysis, and voltage disturbance analysis to detect power supply instability.
