High-precision handheld LCR meter
The FNIRSI LC1020E is a compact handheld LCR meter designed for fast, accurate measurements of electronic components. It features automatic component recognition, a wide test-frequency range, dual-parameter readout and high measurement resolution. Adjustable test voltage levels, built-in polarisation and calibration functions help provide stable, repeatable results. The 2.8-inch colour TFT display, data logging, USB-C rechargeable battery and automatic power-off function make it suitable for everyday use in laboratories, workshops and the field.
Automatic component recognition
The meter automatically identifies the component under test as a resistor, capacitor or inductor and selects the appropriate measurement mode. This makes testing quick and straightforward while reducing the risk of incorrect settings. Five test frequencies from 100 Hz to 100 kHz are available. The meter measures inductance, capacitance, resistance and impedance, making it suitable for research and development as well as service work.
Dual readout and high resolution
The LC1020E provides a basic accuracy of 0.3%. Its large 2.8-inch TFT colour display shows two measurement parameters simultaneously, helping speed up analysis and making results easier to read. The display resolution is 4.5 digits for both the main and secondary parameters, and the graphical interface supports comfortable use during extended measurements.
Adaptation to the component under test
Five test frequencies and three RMS test-voltage levels allow measurement settings to be matched to the component and its characteristics. The built-in internal polarisation function offers settings of 0.0 V and 0.5 V to help stabilise readings and reduce fluctuations when testing components sensitive to voltage changes. Open-circuit and short-circuit calibration help compensate for parasitic capacitance and test-lead resistance, supporting stable, repeatable measurements.
Sorting, comparison and data logging
Nominal values and tolerance ranges can be set to identify components outside the specified limits. The comparison function calculates the relative error between the measured and nominal values as a percentage and can filter results; the tolerance range is adjustable from 0.1% to 99.9%. Logging checks whether measured components meet the set nominal value and tolerance, and records the number of successful and unsuccessful measurements. The meter can lock the current reading and provide real-time statistics to support measurement analysis and comparison. Sorting and one-button tests are useful for quality control, production testing and batch component selection.
Portable operation
The built-in lithium-ion battery, USB Type-C charging and automatic power-off function support portable use. The compact meter measures capacitance, resistance, inductance and impedance, and can test electrolytic capacitors in series and parallel circuits. Three-terminal and five-terminal measurement configurations are supported.
