FNIRSI 2D15P Oscilloscope

The FNIRSI 2D15P combines a two-channel oscilloscope, a True RMS multimeter and a signal generator in one portable instrument for service, laboratory and design work. Its touchscreen, physical controls, fast data processing and built-in rechargeable battery support convenient use at a workstation or in the field.

Signal analysis

• Two-channel oscilloscope with 100 MHz bandwidth on one channel or 50 MHz when both channels are used simultaneously.
• Sampling rate: 500 MSa/s.
• Selectable memory depth: 10 K, 100 K or 1 M samples.
• Waveform capture rate of approximately 1,200 frames per second helps reveal short-duration disturbances and irregularities.
• 20 MHz bandwidth limit for reducing noise during ripple analysis and other measurements.

Diagnostic functions

The 4.3-inch IPS touchscreen works alongside physical buttons. Waveforms can be displayed with 128 levels of grayscale, and colour-temperature visualisation helps show signal stability and changes over time. Infinite persistence overlays successive waveforms, while XY mode supports analysis of phase relationships between signals. Real-time mathematical operations include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Measurement cursors, 13 automatic parameter measurements, and Auto, Normal and Single trigger modes support analysis of different signals.

Oscilloscope, multimeter and signal generator

The built-in DDS signal generator operates at frequencies up to 10 MHz and generates 11 common waveforms, with adjustable amplitude and duty cycle. The integrated True RMS multimeter has a resolution of 19,999 counts and measures AC and DC voltage and current, resistance and capacitance. It also supports diode and continuity testing. Curve View displays a real-time graph of signal changes for observation and analysis.

Portable design and data handling

Based on FPGA, MCU and ADC chips, the instrument is designed for fast signal processing and stable operation. Its compact housing is approximately 30% lighter than previous models. The built-in 5,000 mAh battery provides portable operation, and the USB-C connector supports charging. Waveforms can be recorded and data exported for later analysis.
