NEEWER BASICS NL48B Selfie Light

NEEWER BASICS NL48B Selfie Light

The NEEWER NL48B provides additional lighting for selfies, vlogs and other smartphone content. Its magnetic mount attaches quickly to a phone, while the adjustable design helps position the light when using either the front or rear camera. Choose from four colour temperatures and five brightness levels to suit the scene. A CRI of 95 supports natural-looking colour reproduction. The light also features a built-in mirror, a compact 96 g design and a battery that provides up to 110 minutes of runtime at full power.

Convenient magnetic mounting

The magnetic mount lets you attach the NL48B to a phone for taking photos or recording videos. It attaches directly to iPhone 8–16 models; for phones or cases without a magnetic function, use the included magnetic ring. This provides a convenient lighting solution for selfies, vlogs and other content without requiring an additional mount.

Flexible positioning for front and rear cameras

The light can be used with both front and rear cameras without blocking the lens. Its 360° and 270° adjustment ranges make it easy to direct the light where needed. The NL48B is suitable for selfies, vlogging, video recording and sharing content, including cooking videos. It can also be used as ambient lighting or as a phone stand.

Four colour temperatures and five brightness levels

Adjust the light to suit the conditions and the look of your shot. Select one of four colour temperatures: 2700 K, 3200 K, 4300 K or 5600 K. Choose from five brightness levels: 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% or 100%. The built-in buttons provide straightforward control: press briefly to change the colour temperature, use “+” and “−” to adjust brightness, and press and hold to switch the light on or off.

CRI 95 for natural colour rendering

A Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of 95 helps reproduce the colours of subjects and faces accurately. This is useful for selfies, video recording and presenting products or prepared dishes on camera. At 5600 K, maximum illuminance is 700 lux at 0.3 m, providing additional light when ambient illumination is insufficient.

Built-in mirror

The integrated mirror adds convenience when taking photos and recording videos. Use it to check makeup while filming with the phone’s rear camera or for quick everyday touch-ups, without carrying a separate mirror.

Compact, foldable design

When folded, the NL48B measures 6 × 7 × 2 cm and weighs 96 g, making it easy to carry in a bag or backpack. The foldable design simplifies storage and transport. When opened to 180°, the light can be adjusted to suit your filming setup and measures 13–17.5 cm in length, 8 cm in width and 1 cm in thickness.

Battery and USB-C charging

The built-in 3.7 V, 850 mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to 110 minutes of runtime at full power. Charging takes approximately 150 minutes via the USB-C port. A charging cable is included, so the light can be used on location without needing to remain connected to a power source.
