The Godox ML100R offers a wide range of lighting options in a compact design for studio and location work. Its broad colour temperature range, precise hue adjustment and colour-mixing technology help you tailor the light to each project. The Godox Mount is compatible with a range of modifiers for soft, diffused illumination or more defined lighting effects. Flexible power options support mobile use, while the Godox Light app provides convenient control, including simultaneous operation of multiple lights. The light also includes 14 preset FX effects for creating atmosphere on photo and film sets.

Precise Control of Light and Colour

Colour-mixing technology provides uniform illumination and consistent colour reproduction for photo and video work. The colour temperature range of 1,800 K to 10,000 K covers warm, atmospheric light through to cool light resembling daylight. GM (green-magenta) adjustment enables precise correction of green and magenta tones, which is useful when combining different light sources and maintaining consistent colour across a scene. HSI mode provides additional creative colour control for shaping the atmosphere and realising demanding visual concepts.

Godox Mount and Lighting Accessories

The Godox Mount provides compatibility with an expanding range of compact lighting accessories. Depending on the project, lens reflectors, softboxes and projection attachments can be used to direct, soften or shape the light. Available solutions include the Mini Projection Attachment, Collapsible Fresnel Attachment and Air Soft Tube. With the appropriate modifier, the ML100R can be adapted for portraits, product photography, creative photo sessions and film sets. Accessories are available separately.

Creative Effects with Additional Accessories

The Collapsible Fresnel Attachment ML-CFL5 increases light intensity and is suited to stronger, more directional illumination. The Mini Projection Attachment ML-SP creates visual effects for backgrounds, highlights specific elements in the frame or adds character to a scene. For portrait photography, the Air Soft Tube ML-S1A transforms the light into a soft, diffused source. These accessories provide different lighting options without requiring multiple separate lights.

Compact Fresnel Attachment

The foldable ML-CFL5 Fresnel attachment is designed for convenient transport and flexible light shaping. It attaches directly to the front of the 15° or 36° lens reflector to increase light intensity. Three angle settings let you adjust the light-boosting effect to the scene. The attachment also helps produce uniform illumination with high colour saturation, including when using coloured light. Made from lightweight silicone, it folds in half to take up little space in a gear bag.

Portable Design for Location Work

The ML100R’s compact size suits creators who frequently change locations and need easily transportable equipment. Its lightweight, practical accessories make it convenient to carry the kit for outdoor shoots, field recording or work in different indoor locations. The modifiers are designed for quick setup and changes to the lighting configuration. The ML100R is suitable for mobile productions, small studios and confined spaces where bulky lighting equipment can be difficult to set up.

Flexible Power Options

The ML100R offers several power options to suit different working conditions. In the studio, it can be powered from AC using the included DC adapter, supporting longer sessions. For location work, four battery-powered options are available, allowing operation without continuous access to a mains outlet. Compatible accessories include the BG02 Battery Grip, designed to make the light more convenient to use on location. This flexibility supports both studio and outdoor work.

Control with the Godox Light App

The Godox Light app lets you adjust the ML100R from a mobile device without having to reach the light. It provides colour temperature adjustment in CCT mode and colour control in HSI mode. The app can connect to and control multiple lights simultaneously, helping coordinate more complex lighting setups and streamlining both solo and multi-light shoots.

Preset FX Effects

The ML100R includes 14 preset FX effects for creating dynamic scenes without additional light sources. Simulations include natural phenomena such as fire and lightning, as well as effects inspired by police lights and party lighting. These effects can add visual interest to a frame, emphasise a subject’s emotions or give footage a more cinematic look. Combined with extensive colour control and a range of modifiers, the ML100R is suited to portrait photography, creative photo shoots, video production and everyday lighting in and out of the studio.
