The NANLUX Evoke Matrix 2500C is a 2500 W full-color multi-source spotlight designed for high-quality film, television, commercial production, and large-scale lighting systems. Similar to the Matrix 2500B, it is built as an integrated four-head fixture but features a full-color engine for productions requiring extensive color control, precise skin tones, and strong saturation.
Color Engine and Light Quality
The Matrix 2500C utilizes the NANLUX Nebula C8 color light engine, combining dark red, red, amber, lime, green, cyan, blue, and indigo LEDs. This provides an ultra-wide correlated color temperature (CCT) range from 1000 K to 20,000 K with green/magenta adjustment of +/-200 across the entire range. The color engine is engineered to deliver improved skin tone rendition, a wider color gamut, and enhanced color saturation through advanced color mixing.
Lighting Modes and Output
The Matrix 2500C offers seven lighting modes: CCT, HSI, HSIW, RGBW, XY coordinates, Gel, and Effect. It delivers 9570 lux at 3 meters distance at 5600 K without the Fresnel lens. With the included motorized Fresnel lens FL-MT25, output reaches 67,900 lux at 3 meters at 5600 K with a 16° beam angle. The FL-MT25 provides precise remote beam angle control from 16° to 48°, allowing adjustment even when the fixture is installed in hard-to-reach or elevated locations.
Design and Modular Use
Designed for dense multi-light arrays, the compact 40 x 40 cm design allows multiple fixtures to be mounted closely together, creating smoother diffusion and increasing light density. Using the optional NANLUX four-light frame, four Matrix fixtures can form a 10,000 W lighting array. Multiple arrays can also be mounted on truss systems and combined into larger modular lighting matrices.
Durability and Cooling
The unit is constructed from a single-piece magnesium alloy housing and meets IP66 standards, making it suitable for outdoor use in rain, heat, and dusty environments. The front-to-back airflow design helps reduce heat buildup in dense lighting arrays and ensures stable operation under continuous high load. The fixture features four fan modes: Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed, and Off.
Control and Connectivity
The Matrix 2500C supports built-in control, remote control, wired control, NANLINK app, DMX/RDM, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net/sACN, and NFC. NFC enables simultaneous configuration of DMX parameters for multiple units, speeding up setup when working with large arrays. In DMX configurations, each light head can be controlled independently, making the fixture suitable for complex productions and virtual production workflows.
