Rear Lens Cap
The rear lens cap is designed for all EF type lenses, teleconverters, and extension tubes.
Protection
The lens cap protects the optics (lenses) from both mechanical and chemical damage. Even a small smudge on the front or rear lenses, if not covered with a protective cap in time, can ruin all photos taken with that optic. This is especially true for scratches or cracks on the glass.
Usage
