The Aputure NOVA 9° 2x1 is a high-performance panel light designed to replicate intense beams of sunlight with breakthrough spectral quality. It features a 650W tunable white light source with an exceptionally narrow 9° beam angle, enabling long throw and hard shadows for dramatic lighting effects.
Long Throw and Hard Shadows
This panel is specially tuned to emit intense, directional, tunable white light over great distances with minimal angle spread. The NOVA 9° 2x1 produces a narrower beam than any other panel light, allowing you to create strong sunbeam effects on any subject with pleasing directional shadow quality.
Advanced BLAIR Light Engine for Superior Color Quality
The NOVA 9° 2x1 incorporates the advanced BLAIR light engine, which outputs the highest quality tunable white light among narrow beam panels. It combines Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, and Red emitters to produce extreme white light quality. The Indigo emitters enhance the colors of naturally fluorescing materials similar to sunlight, while the Extended Red emitters enrich skin tones and extend the correlated color temperature (CCT) range from 1,800K to 20,000K.
Versatile Sunbeam Lighting
Thanks to its shallow footprint, the NOVA 9° 2x1 is ideal for use with reflectors, through windows, or anywhere beams of sunlight are required. At a distance of 5 meters, it delivers 28,090 lux, which is twice as bright as a 5,000W tungsten fresnel at full spot (14,920 lux).
Weatherproof, Quiet, and Lightweight Design
The advanced structural design achieves a balance of low noise, low weight, and IP65 weather protection. The panel is weatherproof with an IP65 rating, operates with fan noise below 40 dB even in high-speed mode, and weighs less than 20 kg including the yoke, making it suitable for various shooting environments.
