MITOYA SUN70 Soft LED Ultra Slim is an advanced constant light lamp featuring adjustable power and color temperature ranging from 3200 K to 5600 K. The round panel contains 360 LEDs, with half emitting warm light and the other half cool (neutral white) light. Light output can be adjusted in 1% increments, and color temperature in 100 K steps, allowing precise and efficient selection of optimal operating parameters. The lamp offers excellent color fidelity with a CRI of 95+.
The evenly spaced LEDs produce strong, homogeneous light. A permanently built-in milky white diffuser intensively disperses the light, resulting in very soft illumination that is especially flattering for skin tones, making it ideal for portrait lighting. The lamp has an outer diameter of 45.5 cm, with a diffuser surface of 41 cm. The ultra-thin panel is only 13 mm thick. It is mounted in a stable, semi-circular handle allowing 360º rotation and locking in any position. The entire assembly mounts on a lighting tripod with a 16 mm head. The aluminum housing serves as a passive cooling system, making the SUN70 quiet and suitable for film set use as it has no fan.
Light settings can be controlled in two ways: via the rear panel or the included radio remote control. The rear panel features a two-stage switch, three control buttons for power, color temperature, and channel selection, a large knob, and a clear LCD display. Below the switch is a socket for the included AC adapter. The remote control has five function buttons for adjusting light parameters and switching the lamp on/off. Radio communication operates at 2.4 GHz, supporting up to three groups and forty channels, enabling complex lighting setups.
Besides mains power, the lamp can be powered by a single V-Lock / V-Mount battery (not included), inserted into a port above the control panel, allowing for outdoor use. The set includes a practical carrying bag with handle.
