The Soft LED Ultra Slim MITOYA SUN 70 RGB is an enhanced version of the popular MITOYA SUN 70 model. It features a round, flat panel equipped with 160 RGBWW LEDs that support both daylight (CCT) mode and RGB colored light with 49 preset lighting effects such as candle flame, fireworks, flickering bulb, and SOS signal.
It offers smooth power and color temperature adjustment ranging from ultra-warm 2500K to cool 8500K in 100K increments, allowing precise matching of lighting to the scene requirements. The lamp boasts a high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 95+ for accurate color reproduction, making it ideal for video production, beauty sessions, and live streaming. RGB color control is managed via the HSI system (hue, saturation, intensity), enabling independent adjustment of color, saturation, and brightness.
Design and Light Quality
The MITOYA SUN series is distinguished by its unique LED arrangement: LEDs are positioned around the circumference of the circular panel and directed towards its center. The emitted light first hits an inner reflector before being diffused outward through a thick white plastic diffuser. This design produces soft, non-glaring, and attractively diffused light similar to a classic softbox.
The lamp features a passive cooling system with an aluminum housing for heat dissipation, ensuring silent operation—crucial for film sets. The panel is mounted on a "U" type bracket allowing full 360° rotation and locking in any position. It can be mounted on a studio tripod with a 16 mm head.
Control and Power Options
Control is available via the rear panel or a wireless remote control. The clear LCD display, function buttons, and a control knob facilitate easy parameter adjustments and mode switching. The lamp supports operation in 3 groups and 40 channels, enabling synchronized control of multiple units via a single controller over a 2.4 GHz radio frequency.
