The MITOYA MOBULA 540 Bi-color LED lamp is a compact and efficient constant light source designed for professional photography and videography. It features smooth control of correlated color temperature (CCT) ranging from 3200K to 5600K and adjustable power output. The lamp produces clear, flicker-free light, ideal for high-quality imaging. Its light beam angle can be narrowed using four movable flaps called gates, which are also fully removable.

The rectangular LED panel measures 220 × 170 mm and contains 540 LEDs, split evenly between warm (3200K) and cool (5600K) light emitters. Color temperature adjustment is precise, with increments of either 10K or 100K. Light intensity is smoothly adjustable from 1% to 100%. At full power, the lamp delivers a luminance of 3500 lux at 1 meter. A high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 95+ ensures faithful reproduction of vivid, natural colors. The intense LED light can be softened by attaching the included diffuser, which slides onto the panel's side.

Control is available via the rear panel or a 2.4 GHz wireless remote control. The interface is user-friendly, featuring three function buttons, a large control knob, and a small LCD display showing current settings. The remote supports operation on 40 channels, allowing simultaneous control of multiple lamps, including power, color temperature, and individual device on/off. The remote requires two AAA batteries (not included).

Power options include mains supply via the included 15V 3A AC adapter or one or two NP-F rechargeable batteries (not included). The lamp supports a hot-swap mechanism for NP-F batteries, enabling battery replacement without powering down the lamp. The aluminum housing provides passive cooling without a fan, ensuring silent operation that does not interfere with microphones or sound recording equipment.

The lamp is mounted in a robust and durable "U"-shaped bracket. Without the gates attached, the panel can rotate smoothly through 360°. When the gates are unfolded, rotation range is limited by their angle. Two side clamps lock the panel securely in position. The assembly mounts on a tripod with a 16 mm spigot. A padded carrying bag with handle is included for transport and protection.
