MITOYA HERON is an advanced lighting tripod constructed from lightweight and durable carbon fiber. This material choice enables a wide height adjustment range from 50 to 210 cm while maintaining a low weight of only 860 g. The tripod features a reverse folding leg mechanism and the ability to spread the legs flat on the floor, facilitating easier transport and setup, even in confined home studio spaces.
Design and Construction
- Four telescopically extendable sections, each independently adjustable and secured with large clamps.
- Column cross-sections measure 27 mm (base), 24 mm, 21 mm, 18 mm, and 15 mm respectively.
- Maximum height of 210 cm is achieved in the standard tripod position with legs extended upwards.
- When legs are extended horizontally (parallel to the ground), the maximum working height is 180 cm.
- Legs have a cross-section of 15 mm and length of 50 cm.
- One leg features additional adjustment capability for stable use on uneven surfaces.
- Non-slip feet enhance tripod stability.
