The MITOYA IBIS lighting tripod is a lightweight and versatile stand designed for LED lamps, ring lamps, and other portable light sources. Constructed from durable aluminum and ABS plastic, it features a unique reverse folding mechanism for the legs, allowing them to fold "upwards" along the main column. This design makes the tripod compact and easy to transport.

Adjustable Height and Structure

The tripod's vertical column consists of four sections secured with butterfly clamps, providing an adjustable height range from 50 cm to 185 cm. The maximum height of 185 cm is achieved when the legs are fully extended upwards in a classic stand configuration. When the legs are unfolded flat and run parallel to the ground, the tripod reaches a maximum height of 145 cm.

Mounting and Compatibility

The IBIS tripod is equipped with a standard 16 mm studio head and an additional 1/4'' thread, making it compatible with LED ring lamps, LED video lamps with Mini Bowens mounts, and light panel lamps.
