MITOYA PUFFIN is a versatile, extremely light, and mobile lighting tripod featuring a reverse folding mechanism and the ability to spread its legs flat on the floor. This design ensures a safe center of gravity and adequate stabilization even when used with larger ring lamps and LED panel lights. It offers smooth height adjustment ranging from 50 to 180 cm and supports a load capacity of up to 2 kg.

Construction and Design

The main column of the tripod consists of four sections secured with clamps. It is equipped with a standard 16 mm stem and an additional 1/4" thread, allowing the attachment of a wide range of photo-video accessories. The cross-sections of the individual sections measure 25 mm, 23 mm, 20 mm, and 16 mm respectively. An additional vertical groove runs through the entire height of the tripod, preventing the sections from rotating around the axis, ensuring that mounted equipment remains fixed in the desired position.

The PUFFIN tripod is constructed from aluminum, combining low weight with high durability. Its thin, stiff legs are finished with thick, non-slip rubber feet. The leg design facilitates arranging a smaller shooting setup, working in tight spaces, and maneuvering among other equipment or furniture. When the legs are extended parallel to the ground, the tripod's maximum height is 160 cm.
