Product Description

MITOYA PIKE 42 RGB is a lightweight, oblong LED tube lamp measuring 42 cm in length. It emits intense, homogeneous light without flickering, making it ideal for quick video shots with phones or cameras. The lamp offers a CCT natural light mode with adjustable color temperature ranging from 2500 to 9900 K. It also supports operation in the RGB color space modeled with HSI (hue, saturation, intensity) mode and includes 24 thematic EFFECT programs such as campfire flame, candle, strobe, and fireworks. The natural light mode features a high CRI of 95+ for faithful reproduction of natural, saturated colors. The lamp consumes 12 W of power and delivers a luminous flux of up to 1200 lumens.

Control and Operation

The PIKE 42 RGB is controlled via a simplified control panel enhanced with a TFT display. The top of the device features four buttons: a power button to switch operating modes (CCT / HSI / EFFECT), a function button to navigate within the current mode, and minus and plus buttons to adjust color temperature, brightness, color saturation, or select thematic programs. Additionally, the lamp supports Bluetooth remote control via a smartphone application. It can operate in up to 6 groups and 100 channels, compatible with the same app used for MITOYA ORCA and APISTO series.

Battery and Build

The lamp includes a built-in 5200 mAh (3.7 V) rechargeable Li-ion battery charged via USB (5V 2A). It features a passive cooling system ensuring quiet and efficient operation that does not interfere with microphones. The tube has a standard 1/4" mounting thread and two magnetic mounts for versatile placement, including unusual locations. The included mini tripod can be used as a desk or floor stand, and its foldable legs double as a hand grip for comfortable handheld use without obscuring the LEDs. A protective zippered case is included for safe transport.

Important Charging Note

Attention: Due to the battery specifications, the PIKE 42 RGB lamp must be charged exclusively with the included USB-A to USB-C cable. It does not support charging via USB-C to USB-C cables and cannot be used while charging. Operating the lamp connected to a charging source may cause permanent battery damage.
