Design without grooves and without write protection switch

Delkin BLACK SD cards are designed without a write-protect switch or plastic grooves between the contacts on the back to improve reliability and functionality. When you remove the write-protect switch, the card never goes into read-only mode, which prevents writing to the card. If the SD card switch accidentally breaks (regardless of whether it was in the up position before it broke), files already recorded on the card can still be accessed and copied from the card, but new data cannot be written to the card. Broken or chipped ribs will not affect the functionality of the card, but if they were broken in a used device (camera or memory card reader), the device could possibly be damaged.
