The Rode Interview PRO is a broadcast-quality handheld wireless microphone designed for professional audio capture in content creation, media, and broadcast applications. It features a high-quality omnidirectional condenser capsule that delivers rich, detailed voice reproduction, capturing a wide, natural sound that includes all the nuances of the human voice.

Compatibility and Transmission

This microphone is fully compatible with all RØDE Series IV wireless receivers, including Wireless PRO, Wireless ME, Wireless GO II, RØDECaster Pro II, and RØDECaster Duo. It utilizes advanced 2.4 GHz digital transmission technology, providing exceptionally stable audio with a line-of-sight range of up to 200 meters (656 feet).

Internal Recording and Battery

The Interview PRO includes built-in 32-bit float recording with up to 32 GB of internal storage, allowing for over 40 hours of recording at 48 kHz sample rate. The 32-bit float format offers massive headroom to virtually eliminate clipping. It also features low handling noise for pristine recordings. The integrated rechargeable battery provides up to 25-30 hours of continuous operation, ensuring reliability during extended shoots.

GainAssist Technology

GainAssist is an intelligent algorithm that automatically monitors and adjusts audio levels in real time. It compensates for sudden changes in volume by reducing peaks to prevent clipping and raising quieter sounds to maintain balanced, smooth audio throughout the recording.

Timecode Support

When paired with receivers that support timecode, such as the Wireless PRO, the Interview PRO delivers full timecode information with audio signals, making it ideal for professional broadcast and audio-for-video workflows.
