The Rode NTG4+ is designed for ENG, filmmaking, field recording, sound design, and broadcast applications. It builds upon the success of the NTG1 and NTG2 microphones with an updated capsule delivering broadcast quality sound and versatile digital switching options for field operation.

Power and Battery

The microphone includes a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery providing up to 150 hours of phantom power. This makes it ideal for run-and-gun setups on DSLR or mirrorless cameras that cannot supply phantom power directly. The battery recharges in approximately two hours via a Micro USB cable connected to a USB power pack or wall adapter.
