The LUMIX S1H has a newly designed 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor featuring Dual Native ISO technology, resulting in minimal noise and outstanding image quality across the ISO range. Combined with the Venus Engine, it delivers a maximum ISO of 51200 and an Extended ISO of 204800 for a cleaner image at higher sensitivities and a beautiful rendition of dark areas in the frame. In addition, the low-pass filter helps minimize moiré. Whenever low-light shooting is required, the S1H is ready for action.

422 10-bit Internal Recording/HDMI Output

Featuring an incredibly wide colour gamut, the S1H can record C4K 422 10-bit up to 30p internally. When 10-bit recording is selected, the camera delivers 422 10-bit HDMI output, making capture with an external recorder possible. The 422 10-bit option has approximately 128 times the information of 420 8-bit and is capable of expressing over 1 billion colours. This massive volume of colour information is highly valuable for post-production, making it possible to creatively adjust colour to match the creative vision of the Director. Leveraging the expressive power of a full-frame camera takes 4K video to exciting new places.

V-Log/V-Gamut with 14+ Stops of Dynamic Range

The LUMIX S1H V-Log offers 14+ stops of dynamic range, which covers the PQ requirement of HDR, while V-Gamut covers the full HDR colour spectrum, giving users access to HDR shooting. As a further convenient touch, the LUT used is displayed on the camera monitor for real-time feedback on the final output wherever, whenever.

First Fan Ever in a Full-frame DSLM Camera Supports Unlimited Video Recording

For the first time ever in a full-frame digital single-lens mirrorless camera, the LUMIX S1H incorporates a fan for optimum heat dispersion — a feature typically found only on broadcast or cinema cameras. The fan is part of a newly developed body that allows unlimited video recording, which causes minimal vibrations to affect image stabilization, and ultra-quiet performance without compromising the dust- and splash-resistant body design.

The fan is designed to offer greater shooting flexibility through four different settings, including:

• AUTO1 – which starts the fan soon after shooting starts to minimize heat and facilitate longer shots
• AUTO2 - prioritizes quiet performance and minimizes fan usage
