45.7MP FX-Format BSI CMOS Sensor and Dual EXPEED 6 Processors

The back-illuminated 45.7MP sensor omits the optical low-pass filter for maximum sharpness and supports a native ISO range of 64 to 25600. Dual EXPEED 6 processors enable fast readout speeds, continuous shooting at 10 fps for up to 50 frames, and excellent low-light performance.

UHD 4K Video Recording

The Z7 II records UHD 4K video up to 60p and Full HD 1080p up to 120p for slow motion. It supports internal recording to memory cards or uncompressed external recording via HDMI. Features include N-Log gamma, HLG HDR recording, 10-bit HDMI output, Electronic VR stabilization, Focus Peaking, Zebra Stripes, and audio input/output options. Firmware updates add raw video output to Blackmagic Design Video Assist recorders and improve autofocus eye detection.

493-Point Phase-Detect AF System & Vibration Reduction

The sensor includes 493 phase-detect AF points covering 90% of the frame for fast, accurate focusing and subject tracking. Hybrid AF ensures smooth focus transitions in video. In-body 5-axis sensor-shift Vibration Reduction compensates for up to 5 stops of shake with Z-mount lenses and 3-axis stabilization with adapted F-mount lenses via the FTZ adapter.

Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter

The Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter allows the use of nearly any F-mount lens on Z-mount mirrorless cameras with a streamlined design optimized for cameras with battery grips. It removes the tripod mount and reduces size for comfortable handling. The adapter maintains autofocus and auto-exposure functions with over 90 AF-S and AF-P type D, E, and G lenses and supports infinity focus. Constructed from magnesium alloy, it is weather-sealed for durability.
