4K Video Recording Capabilities
The GH5 II supports professional-grade video recording with unlimited recording time. It captures DCI and UHD 4K video at 60p in 10-bit 4:2:0 internally, and can output 10-bit 4:2:2 video via HDMI simultaneously. High bit rate recording ensures detailed, artifact-free footage. Multiple picture styles include Cinelike D2 and Cinelike V2 gamma presets for dynamic range or contrast prioritization, as well as L. Monochrome S and L. Classic Neo for creative effects. Advanced Autofocus System
The GH5 II incorporates a 225-area Depth-from-Defocus (DFD) autofocus system enhanced with deep learning technology for precise subject detection and tracking. It recognizes human faces, eyes, and fast-moving animals, maintaining focus even with rapid movement, changes in orientation, or distance. This contrast-detection AF system benefits both stills and video, intelligently locking onto subjects using color, size, and motion vectors.
Dual I.S. 2 Image Stabilization
