The Samyang 12mm F2.8 ED AS NCS Fish-eye is a manual focus fisheye lens designed for full frame sensor sizes. This compact lens enables diverse image creation for both long and short distance shooting.
Optical Features
This manual focus lens features a bright F2.8 aperture, allowing precise control in various lighting conditions, from low light to bright environments. The optical construction includes 12 elements in 8 groups, incorporating 2 glass aspherical lenses (ASP) and 3 extra low dispersion lenses (ED) to deliver high resolution and minimize chromatic aberration. The Nano Coating System (NCS) optimizes light transmission and reduces flare and ghosting. The lens offers a minimum focusing distance of 0.2 meters for close-up shooting. Its stereoscopic projection optical design produces a soft and stabilized fisheye distortion effect.
Hardware Features
The lens has 7 aperture blades designed to form an almost perfect circle when stopped down, producing clear and beautiful star-shaped light rays. The lens body is compact and robust, constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy for durability and reliability.
