It covers a wide focal range from 16mm wide-angle to 300mm super-telephoto (equivalent to 24-450mm in 35mm format), making it suitable for landscapes, portraits, wildlife, sports, and close-up photography.

Autofocus and Image Stabilization
The lens features a High-response Linear Actuator (HLA) motor that delivers fast, smooth, and accurate autofocus, ideal for capturing fast-moving subjects such as birds and aircraft. Optical stabilization powered by the OS2 algorithm provides up to 6 stops of shake reduction at the wide end and 4.5 stops at the telephoto end, enabling sharp images even in low light or at long focal lengths.
