Featuring the latest optical design, the lens delivers high resolution, capturing expansive starry skies and landscapes in exquisite detail thanks to its wide aperture. The compact and lightweight design maximizes the mobility of APS-C cameras and enables agile shooting while maintaining uncompromising performance.

Outstanding Optical Performance
Three double-sided aspherical lenses and two SLD glass elements are effectively arranged to achieve high optical performance from a wide-open aperture of F1.4. The effective placement of the double-sided aspherical elements has resulted in a compact and lightweight design with an overall length of 69.4mm and a weight of 225g, ensuring high mobility for outdoor shooting.

Aperture Ring and Coating
Equipped with an aperture ring for intuitive aperture control, the Canon RF-mount version features a control ring instead of the aperture ring, enabling features to minimize flare and ghosting. Advanced simulation technology largely eliminates flare and ghosting, allowing the lens to deliver high-contrast results in all conditions. The lens is also dust- and splash-resistant, with a water- and oil-repellent coating on the front surface, making it suitable for harsh outdoor environments.
