MITOYA CRICKET is a mini phone tripod featuring a magnetic mount. Constructed from lightweight and durable aluminum, it provides a secure and stable attachment for smartphones without requiring additional holders, clamps, or quick connectors. The round magnetic mount complies with MagSafe and PixelSnap standards, enabling direct mounting of selected iPhone and Google Pixel models. The mount is finished with soft silicone to protect the device body from accidental scratches.

The tripod set includes an additional magnetic ring adapter with a glued side, allowing attachment to smartphones from other brands such as Samsung, Realme, Motorola, and Huawei. The magnetic mount supports both vertical and horizontal phone positioning. The tripod itself can be tilted forward and backward up to 270°, offering a wide range of creative framing options.

Below the magnetic mount, there is an additional cold shoe holder for mounting external accessories like wireless microphones.

Design and Build

The MITOYA CRICKET tripod features three fold-out legs with non-slip feet. When folded, the legs form a hand grip, facilitating dynamic shots during motion. The legs are precisely profiled to meet the Arca Swiss standard, a popular mounting solution in professional photography tripods. The folded tripod also provides access to a 1/4" mounting thread. The compact design folds flat to dimensions of 13 × 5.8 × 1.7 cm and weighs only 112 g, making it pocket-friendly and easy to carry.

Note: The additional magnetic ring adapter should be glued directly to the phone body, not to an external phone case.
