It features dual Mini-SAS HD interface ports, each delivering 48Gb/s, enabling rapid data transfer for demanding professional applications.

Utilize the dual Mini-SAS HD ports either in tandem for combined performance speeds up to 96Gb/s or use the second port to add additional JBOD storage capacity. The Kore system can also expand existing RAID arrays such as the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
Capacity and Expansion
The OWC Jupiter Kore offers extensive direct-attached or expansion storage capacity, with up to 160TB in the 2U 8-drive rack system and up to 320TB in the 3U 16-drive rack system. Multiple Kore units can be connected via Mini-SAS to scale storage capacity up to 2.5PB on 3U systems.
RAID Compatibility
Designed for high-performance RAID storage, Kore works seamlessly with Mini-SAS RAID controller cards and adapters. It also extends storage capabilities for networked storage servers like the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
Mini-SAS HD Interface Speed
The core Mini-SAS HD interface architecture supports single-cable speeds up to 48Gb/s, or dual cables for a total bandwidth of 96Gb/s. This facilitates faster workflows, increased video ingest rates, simultaneous video editing, and efficient data movement.

Choose between 8-drive 2U racks or 16-drive 3U racks to suit your installation requirements and available rack space.
Hot-Swappable Components
