Utilize dual Mini-SAS HD ports in tandem for performance speeds up to 96Gb/s or use the second port to add additional JBOD storage capacity. Kore can also expand existing RAID systems such as the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
High Capacity and Scalability
OWC Jupiter Kore offers vast direct-attached or expansion storage capacity with up to 160TB in a 2U 8-drive rack system and up to 320TB in a 3U 16-drive rack system. Additional Kore systems can be attached via Mini-SAS to scale capacity up to 2.5PB on 3U systems.
RAID and Performance
Kore is ideal for high-performance RAID storage when connected to Mini-SAS RAID controller cards and adapters. It also extends storage for networked storage servers like the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
Mini-SAS HD Interface Speed
The core Mini-SAS HD interface architecture provides single-cable speeds up to 48Gb/s, or dual direct Mini-SAS HD cables for speeds up to 96Gb/s. This enables faster workflows, increased video ingestion, simultaneous video editing, and efficient data movement.
