This 2U rackmount NAS expansion features dual Mini-SAS HD interface ports, each delivering 48Gb/s, enabling fast data transfer rates suitable for demanding professional workflows.

The dual Mini-SAS HD ports can be used simultaneously to achieve combined throughput of up to 96Gb/s or to increase JBOD storage capacity. The Kore system also supports expansion of existing RAID arrays such as the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
High Capacity and Scalability
The Kore system offers flexible storage options, with the 2U 8-drive rack supporting up to 160TB HDD or 32TB SSD, and the 3U 16-drive rack supporting up to 320TB HDD or 64TB SSD. Multiple Kore units can be connected via Mini-SAS to scale storage capacity up to 2.5PB on 3U systems.
RAID and Performance
Designed for high-performance RAID storage, the Kore system connects to Mini-SAS RAID controller cards and adapters. It also functions as a high-speed JBOD storage solution to extend networked storage servers like the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
Mini-SAS HD Interface Speed
The Mini-SAS HD interface supports single-cable speeds of 48Gb/s, with dual cables enabling up to 96Gb/s total bandwidth. This high-speed interface accelerates workflows including video ingestion, multi-stream editing, and large data transfers, enhancing productivity for creative professionals.
