Utilize dual Mini-SAS HD ports simultaneously to achieve performance speeds up to 96Gb/s or use the second port to increase JBOD storage capacity. The Kore system can also expand existing RAID setups such as the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
Capacity and Expansion
The Kore system offers up to 160TB of storage in a 2U 8-drive rack and up to 320TB in a 3U 16-drive rack. Additional Kore units can be connected via Mini-SAS to scale storage capacity up to 2.5PB on 3U systems.
RAID and Performance
Designed for high-performance RAID storage, Kore connects seamlessly to Mini-SAS RAID controller cards and adapters. It also extends storage for networked storage servers like the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
Mini-SAS HD Interface Speed
The core Mini-SAS HD interface provides single-cable speeds of up to 48Gb/s, with dual cables enabling up to 96Gb/s. This high throughput supports faster workflows, increased video ingestion, simultaneous video editing, and efficient data movement.
