OWC Jupiter Kore Enterprise-Class Storage
Enhance your data storage capabilities with the OWC Jupiter Kore storage system, designed for high performance, large capacity, reliability, and cost efficiency. It features two Mini-SAS HD interface ports, each providing 48Gb/s bandwidth, enabling rapid data transfer suitable for demanding professional applications.
Storage Expansion Features

Utilize both Mini-SAS HD ports simultaneously to achieve combined throughput of up to 96Gb/s, or use the second port to increase JBOD storage capacity. The Kore system also supports expansion of existing RAID arrays such as the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
Capacity and Expansion
The Kore system offers up to 160TB of raw storage in a 2U rack with 8 drives, and up to 320TB in a 3U rack with 16 drives. Multiple Kore units can be interconnected via Mini-SAS to scale storage capacity up to 2.5PB on 3U systems.
RAID and Performance
Designed for high-performance RAID storage, the Kore system connects seamlessly to Mini-SAS RAID controller cards and adapters. It also extends storage for networked storage servers like the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
Mini-SAS HD Interface Speed
The Mini-SAS HD interface delivers single-cable speeds up to 48Gb/s, with dual cables enabling up to 96Gb/s total bandwidth. This high throughput supports accelerated workflows, increased video ingestion rates, simultaneous video editing, and efficient data transfer.
Rack Options and Flexibility
Choose between 8-drive 2U racks or 16-drive 3U racks to suit your installation requirements and available rack space.
