It features two Mini-SAS HD interface ports, each providing 48Gb/s bandwidth, enabling rapid data transfer suitable for demanding professional applications.

The system allows simultaneous use of dual Mini-SAS HD ports for combined throughput up to 96Gb/s or to increase JBOD storage capacity. It can also expand existing RAID configurations such as the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
Capacity and Expansion
The Kore 2U model supports up to 160TB of storage in an 8-drive rack configuration, while the 3U model supports up to 320TB with 16 drives. Multiple Kore units can be interconnected via Mini-SAS to scale storage capacity up to 2.5PB on 3U systems.
RAID and Performance
Optimized for high-performance RAID storage when paired with Mini-SAS RAID controller cards and adapters, Kore also functions as a high-speed JBOD storage solution to extend networked storage servers like the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
Mini-SAS HD Interface Speed
The Mini-SAS HD interface delivers single-cable speeds up to 48Gb/s. Using dual direct Mini-SAS HD cables, the system achieves speeds up to 96Gb/s, accelerating workflows such as video ingestion, multi-stream editing, and data transfer to improve productivity.
