Utilize the dual Mini-SAS HD ports in tandem to achieve performance speeds up to 96Gb/s, or use the second port to increase JBOD storage capacity. Kore can also be used to expand existing RAID systems such as the OWC Jupiter Callisto.
Capacity and Scalability
The Kore system offers vast direct-attached or expansion storage capacity, with up to 160TB in the 2U 8-drive rack and up to 320TB in the 3U 16-drive rack. Additional Kore units can be connected via Mini-SAS to scale storage up to 2.5PB on 3U systems.
RAID and Performance
Kore is ideal for high-performance RAID storage needs, connecting seamlessly to Mini-SAS RAID controller cards and adapters. It also extends the storage capacity of networked storage servers like the OWC Jupiter Callisto by providing high-speed JBOD storage.
Mini-SAS HD Interface Speed
The core Mini-SAS HD interface architecture delivers single-cable speeds up to 48Gb/s. Running dual Mini-SAS HD cables doubles this to 96Gb/s, enabling faster video ingestion, simultaneous video stream editing, and rapid data movement to optimize creative workflows.
