NiSi Nano IR Neutral Density Filter ND8
The NiSi Nano IR Neutral Density Filter ND8 is designed specifically for landscape photographers and videographers. It is crafted from high-quality optical glass with a nano coating that preserves every detail without loss. The neutral density filter does not alter the image coloration, and its 0.9 density provides a 3-stop reduction in light entering the lens.
Construction and Design
- Ultra-thin aluminium frame with a thickness of only 3.5 mm, ideal for use on super wide-angle lenses to prevent vignetting.
- Matte black superfine frosted frame finish.
- Top smooth finish on the filter surface.
Optical Features
- Neutral Density 0.9 filter providing 3 stops exposure reduction without color cast.
- Infrared (IR) coating to reduce infrared light transmission and restore natural color balance.

Usage Benefits
Attaching this ND filter uniformly reduces the amount of light entering the lens, which is beneficial when the contrast between highlights and shadows is too great for quality exposure. It also enables greater motion blur and enhanced image detail by allowing the use of larger apertures and/or slower shutter speeds.
