Functionality and Usage
This circular neutral density filter reduces light entering the lens by 15 stops, allowing photographers to use slower shutter speeds or wider apertures than normally possible. It is ideal for capturing extreme long exposure images, such as cloud movement or softening effects, typically requiring 3 to 6 minutes exposure in daylight conditions.
By controlling exposure time and aperture, it helps manage depth of field and motion blur creatively. It also assists in balancing scenes with high contrast between highlights and shadows for better exposure quality.
Optical Quality
Constructed from premium optical glass rather than resin, the filter ensures no color cast or detail loss. The nano coating reduces reflections and protects against fingerprints, dust, and water stains, making cleaning easier.

Compatibility
This filter is specifically designed to screw into the NiSi S5 150mm filter holder adapter ring after removing the included Pro Screw-In Circular Polarizer Filter. It cannot be used with the NiSi S6 filter holder system.
