NiSi Nano IR Neutral Density Filter ND8

The NiSi Nano IR Neutral Density Filter ND8 is designed specifically for landscape photographers and videographers. It is crafted from high-quality optical glass with a nano coating that preserves every detail without loss. The neutral density filter does not alter the image coloration, and its 0.9 density provides a 3-stop reduction in light entering the lens.

Construction and Design

• Ultra-thin aluminium frame with a thickness of only 3.5 mm

This ultra-thin frame design ensures perfect fit even on super wide-angle lenses, effectively avoiding vignetting.

Functionality

Attaching this neutral density (ND) filter uniformly reduces the amount of light entering the lens, which is especially useful when the contrast between highlights and shadows is too great for a quality exposure. The ND filter also enables greater motion blur and enhanced image detail by allowing the use of larger apertures and/or slower shutter speeds.

The added infrared protection coating layer helps eliminate infrared light passing through the lens, restoring natural color fidelity in images.
