The Sennheiser MKE 400-II is a compact condenser short shotgun microphone designed specifically for mobile phones and small camcorders with a light mount and a 3.5 mm external microphone input. Weighing only 93 g, it offers very high-quality sound, making it an ideal complement to mobile devices.
The microphone features high attenuation of side sounds, making it perfect for video recording. It includes a flexible microphone capsule attachment to suppress touch noise and a switchable wind noise filter for outdoor filming. Sensitivity can be switched for capturing audio at longer or shorter distances. Additionally, it has a headphone jack with volume adjustment for control listening. The battery life is approximately 100 hours.
